Home Shield is 100% Acrylic water proofing exterior coating for home. It is a paint that protects your home from harsh summer, monsoon & cold winter weather. The Sheen finish of HOME SHIELD protects from growth of fungus, algae & accumulation of dust. It gives long life to paint pigments and reduces fading. When applied to the exteriors surfaces, it forms a protective transparent skin type layer which also reflects the IR and UV radiation and keeps the surface temperature cooler by 20 degrees The Flexible skin of HOME SHIELD bridges hairline cracks & honey comb cracks. High percentage of Titanium Dioxide present in HOME SHIELD gives a different glow & look to your home in the sunshine of the day or when illuminated in the night. It is free from lead, Mercury & chromium compound.
Application of Home Shield
- Homeshield can be applied by BRUSH, ROLLER OR SPRAY.
- Surface preparation: Make surface dust, oil & grease free. Remove all particles which may have loose bond with the surface using wire brush. Clean the surface with water thoroughly.
- Algae & fungus can be easily removed with surface treatment chemicals like acticide solutions.
- Fill all minor cracks fill with modified mortar like Diamond Shield, which are friendly to all cementitious surface.
- Avoid using putty for all exterior application.
Coverage
Application Method of Home Shield
- Clean the surface and make it dust, grease & oil free and then apply a coat of Zinc Primer to avoid corrosion of the metal sheet.
- FIRST & SECOND COAT: On primed metal surface apply two coats of Homeshield by diluting it with 10%
water. Keep at least 4 hrs interval between two coats.
Priming
- Dilute 1 part of HOME SHIELD with 1 part of clean, fresh & potable water.
- Then apply on a prepared surface as a primer coat.
Storage & Disposal
- Always keep the container tightly closed, out of reach of children & away from food.
- Use nose mask & eye glass during time of application.
- Dispose the leftovers & expired materials with the container at a proper place.
