Rapid setting plasticizer (chloride type)

DESCRIPTION

QUICK SET is an inorganic based water proofing accelerating compound for cement, concrete or mortar. It is not only accelerates the setting time but promotes rapid hardening and early strength, improves adhesive properties of cement mortar or concrete.

MIXING METHOD

It is necessary to conduct preliminary site trials with Quick Set and available brand of cement to determine the suitability, optimum dosage and setting time etc. It is supplied in ready to use from and should be pre - mixed with gauging water or added into the mixer with water. For best result, mix the concrete for 3-5 minutes for homogenous and through mix and use within its setting time.

PRECAUTIONS

• Do not use Quick Set directly in dry mix • Hand mix should be avoided except for small quantity.
• Optimum dosage should be determined with available cement by taking trial at site.
• Over dosing should be avoided.
• It is not recommended to use Quick Set in Re-inforcement concrete (R.C.C.) but can be used when bars coated either with anti corrosive paint or in case of under water concreting.
